Smile Transformations
Dr. Dan Whiting was born and raised just south of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the scenic shadow of the Rocky Mountains. A love for the outdoors grew through family adventures and scouting. At 19, he spent two years in Moscow, Russia, on a church mission, where he immersed himself in the culture and language—and met his future wife, Jenny McIntyre. After returning, he studied political science at Brigham Young University, but exposure to dentistry through Jenny’s family led him to discover a new passion. He went on to earn his dental degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, graduating in 2009.
Since joining Smiles for Life in 2010, Dr. Whiting has developed a special focus on implant dentistry, including single-tooth replacements, full-mouth implant restorations, and All-on-4 dental implants. He has completed advanced training in surgical placement, restorative techniques, and digitally guided implant procedures. Known for delivering natural, functional results, Dr. Whiting is committed to personalized care—ensuring every implant treatment is designed around the patient's goals, bone health, and lifestyle needs.
Beyond the office, Dr. Whiting and his wife enjoy remodeling homes, often involving their five children in hands-on learning and outdoor fun. From hiking and biking to coaching youth robotics and volunteering, he values strong community ties. Dr. Whiting is recognized not only for his clinical skill but also for his integrity and dedication to restoring patient confidence through high-quality, long-lasting implant solutions.
Single or Multiple Dental Implants
Dental implants are a popular and effective option for replacing missing teeth. They involve surgically placing an implant into the jawbone and attaching a prosthetic tooth to the implant. This creates a strong and durable replacement for a missing tooth, and can also be used to support implant-secured dentures or bridges.
If you're considering dental implants, a full evaluation is required to determine your eligibility and discuss tooth replacement options, including a complete evaluation of your oral health. Dental Implants can be a vital part in a full smile or mouth makeover.
Stabili-Teeth combines the security of full mouth dental implants with the convenience of a removable denture. This innovative approach provides a fixed, yet flexible, restoration that looks, functions, and feels like natural teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, Stabili-Teeth offers superior support, preventing slippage and discomfort while enhancing your overall oral health.
Stabili-Teeth offers a secure, lasting solution for missing teeth, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
All On 4 Implant Teeth ("Teeth In A Day / 24 Hours")
Fixed dentures are another option for replacing missing teeth. Otherwise known as "Teeth In One Day" or "Teeth In 24 Hours". They involve attaching a full arch of teeth to dental implants. This creates a stable and durable solution for tooth loss, providing a beautiful, and instantly ready smile and the ability to eat and speak with confidence.
Like dental implants, fixed teeth (All on 4 / All on Four) require a full evaluation to determine your eligibility and discuss tooth replacement options. The biggest benefit of this option is after surgery, you'll get a set of temporary fixed teeth to heal with. Click the button below to schedule your free implant consult.
